Default We need more votes AAAARRRRR!!!

Don't slack of now at the MMOSITE Reader's Choice Awards 2007, are we supposed to loose a popular vote against a game rated as low as Hellgate:London? Just imagine getting a Minipet for it and crash their site already with voting traffic. The grindspawn from Britain is ahead if only by a small margin, so it's time to strike again. Take your old analogue modem and connect on dial-up if you have to in order to get a new IP. Remember you can always pre-load the site on broadband and then just vote. Google will find you the right call-by-call Internet provider.

Mind the other categories as well.
http://contest.mmosite.com/annual_vo...rite_p2p.shtml

If you need a clear conscience then remember that Reader's Choice implies only that you can read, not that you read what they are writing. If you're reading this out to an illiterate person then just skip the part marking this as a "reader's" contest. If you are blind do you have one of these cool braille boards?

Actually, Hellgate was made by Americans. It's only very, very loosely based on our London.

This vote isn't accurate. This is a vote for your favorite pay-to-play games and Guild Wars doesn't fit in that category. And technically, neither does Hellgate: London since you aren't required to pay to play online.

EDIT: Also Fury is not pay-to-play anymore.

Who cares if those games are P2P or not. Just vote on GuildWars!

So who cares if it's a "my community can outvote your community" contest. That still counts for something. And that Fury wasn't winning any contests was pretty clear to me. For MMOs such as Fury and Archlord there ought to be an extra category: The "Desperately trying every business model to get at least some revenue" Award.

Well since Eye of the North is the only GW-game that was released in 2007 I would never place my vote on GW

There's a Pirates of the Carribean Online?? LOL!!

Anyway, vote for whatever game you enjoy the most, or don't vote at all. I don't really feel the need to win some vote thing to justify why I like GW, I just do. If other people like the other games, that's cool for them. It has no effect on me whatsoever...

Those votes always end up pointless in my opinion.

Coming from Hellgate to Guild Wars, I had no problem putting my vote in for GW.

Hellgate is a mess.

Guild Wars isn't even a subscription-based game....

I voted WoW.

Quality is always better than Quantity. That's why I despise online polls.

(And yes, I would vote for WoW if I did not despise the aforementioned method of vote tabulation.)

I've played quite a few MMOs since I started GW, I voted GW cuz NONE of them are anywhere near as good.

I even tried WoW. after a day or two, I had to force myslef to play. after a week, I was falling asleep. After I reached lvl 30 my subscription ran out and I didn't renew it. I swear I will never play that suckfest again.

Anybody that DOES like WoW, would probably enjoy a coma just as much

So what you're saying is, London isn't overrun with demons?

Well after taking a month or two and trying the other games my vote went for Guild Wars.

BTW I love your new title Zinger...

You know a game's fanbase is unhappy when they wont even vote for it.

I'm pretty sure it actually is - the entire place was swarming with zombies in Shaun of the Dead as well. They can't BOTH be lying!

I'm not voting for GW for the reason already listed. It's not p2p and as such people shouldn't be able to vote for it.

Also, any poll the lets you vote multiple times is just pointless and stupid.
